5th CICPE opens with 65 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders

The 5th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE), the largest premium consumer products expo in the Asia-Pacific region, commenced grandly on April 13th. The event set new records with participation from 71 countries and regions, over 4,100 consumer brands, and 65 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders. Spanning more than 160,000 square meters, this edition marks the largest scale in its history. First-time national pavilions from Slovakia, Singapore, Brazil, and others showcased distinctive products to access the Chinese market.

Beyond expanding its global network, CICPE serves as a launchpad for new products. Debuts included UK's Pixi Beauty, Bloom and Blossom, while Germany's Glashütte Original kicked off its 180th-anniversary global tour here. Bloomage Biotech unveiled three innovative products globally. A dedicated new product release zone hosted 25 exhibitors and 40 brands, introducing over 100 items across diverse sectors.

The consumption technology area highlighted irreplaceable opportunities in China's market, featuring innovations from Tesla, CATL, and others. Newly established zones for new consumption technology, AI and low-altitude economy attracted over 20 leading enterprises, displaying cutting-edge applications like household service robots. Unitree Robotics and Ti5Robot presented humanoid robots, demonstrating tech integration breakthroughs, while EHang exhibited three unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) models.

For the first time, sub-venues were set up at Haikou International Duty-Free City and Sanya International Duty Free City, with a dedicated yacht exhibition area in Sanya. Visitors could enjoy exclusive discounts in duty-free consumption areas and experience art markets, culinary events, and bridal fashion shows across Haikou and Sanya. CICPE reflects China's evolution from the "world's factory" to a "global marketplace," mapping its economic transition toward domestic demand-driven growth.

第五届消博会开幕:65家世界500强及行业龙头企业同台竞技

4月13日上午,第五届中国国际消费品博览会盛大启幕,作为亚太地区规模最大的消费精品展,此次展会亮点纷呈。71个国家和地区、超4100个消费品牌齐聚,65家世界500强及行业龙头参展,展会面积突破16万平方米,规模创历史新高。斯洛伐克、新加坡、巴西等国首次组团参展,带来特色商品叩响中国市场大门。

消博会不仅朋友圈扩大,更是新品首发的舞台。英国Pixi、本安贝等品牌首秀,德国格拉苏蒂原创开启180周年巡展首站,华熙生物带来3款创新产品全球首发。新品集中发布专区有25个发布主体、40个品牌,超百件产品涵盖多领域。

消费科技展区亮点十足,特斯拉、宁德时代等企业技术展品齐聚,彰显“中国市场不可替代”。本届首次设立新消费科技展区,以及人工智能和低空经济展示专区,20多家头部企业展示家庭服务机器人等前沿业务。宇树科技、钛虎机器人等带来人形机器人等产品,展现科技融合与创新突破,亿航智能也展出三款无人驾驶航空器。

此外,消博会除主会场外,还在海口、三亚国际免税城设分展区,首次在三亚设游艇分展区。在免税消费展区可享专属优惠,在海口、三亚多地还能体验艺术市集、美食、婚纱秀等特色活动。消博会见证中国从“世界工厂”向“全球市场”的转变,勾勒出中国经济向内需主导转型的轨迹。
